The Company

How the Honourable Silver Scar Trading Company is governed, what it asks of its employees, and how they rise.

The Articles of Service

All who enter the service of the Company are bound by these articles.

I. Integrity of the Company

The reputation of the Company is its most valuable asset. Every action under the Company's flag reflects our commitment to efficiency and results. We protect the Company so the Company can protect us.

II. The Protocol of Discretion

Information is a controlled commodity. Contracts, clients and internal affairs stay within the Company.

III. Collective Security

An act against one employee is an act against the Company. No employee operates without the full weight of our Fleet, Security forces and logistics behind them. No convoy sails undefended.

IV. Company Interest

The objective comes before personal or outside agendas. We deliver on our agreements without compromise, for a Company that breaks its word has no charter worth keeping.

V. Freedom of Service

A miner may fly escort; a pilot may haul cargo. Serve in as many divisions as you're able. The Company asks for commitment, not obligation. Real life comes first, and the Company will be here when you return.

The Charter

Article I. The Court of Directors

The Court governs the Company: it sets policy, approves major operations, appoints division heads and settles all disputes. The Chairman presides.

Article II. The Divisions

Fleet, Security, Industrial, Logistics, Survey, Engineering & Medical, and Corporate Affairs. Meet the divisions.

Article III. Unified Command

When the Company deploys, its divisions move as one body under one command. Division heads answer to the Court; employees answer to their division heads in the field.

Article IV. Selective Identification

Your primary identity is the Company; your secondary identity is at your discretion.

Article V. Authorized Engagement Only

Every shot fired must protect an asset, fulfil a contract or defend a fellow employee. We are professionals, not brawlers.

Article VI. Company Supply

Use Company supply lines for fuel, munitions and repairs, and contribute where able.

Article VII. Special Projects

Certain matters are handled outside the divisions. Membership is by invitation of the Court only. Inquiries are not answered.

Ranks of the Company

Every employee holds a Company rank, and a title within each division they serve. A Fleet Lieutenant and a Logistics Supercargo are both Factors; a Fleet Admiral and an Industrial Superintendent are both Governors.
